Princess Diana’s Butler Shoots Down Prince Harry’s Engagement Ring Claim

Princess Diana’s former royal butler has hit out at Prince Harry’s claim that, despite press reporting to the contrary, he did not give Prince William their mother’s engagement ring to propose to Kate Middleton with because “it wasn’t mine to give.”

Burrell, who worked for Diana from 1987 up until her death in a 1997 Paris car crash, told a U.K. newspaper on Tuesday that Harry did ask for the jewel because he was present when the brothers were asked to pick out pieces of jewelry at Kensington Palace in the aftermath of their mother’s death.

According to Burrell, Harry chose to keep Diana’s highly treasured engagement ring as a keepsake and William opted for her Cartier watch. This he repeated in interviews after the ring appeared on the finger of Kate Middleton in 2010, alleging that Harry must have given it to his brother.

Harry denied this account in his bombshell memoir Spare which hit the shelves in January, becoming the fastest-selling non-fiction book in history.

“The papers published florid stories about the moment I realized Willy and Kate were well matched, the moment I appreciated the depth of their love and thus decided to gift Willy the ring I’d inherited from Mummy, the legendary sapphire,” he wrote.

“A tender moment between brothers, a bonding moment for all three of us, and absolute rubbish,” he continued. “None of it ever happened. I never gave Willy that ring because it wasn’t mine to give. He already had it. He’d

10 Easy London Fashion Week Outfits You Can Wear This Weekend

All products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors. However, we may earn affiliate revenue on this article and commission when you buy something.

The street style scene can be incredibly theatrical, with guests having at least three outfit changes in a day in the back of their chauffeured cars, pieces borrowed by designers for an hour or so, and outfits chosen for their wow factor. As fabulous as these moments can be, we find ourselves drawn to the quieter outfits that we can actually use as styling inspiration for months, if not years, to come.

Out of all of the international fashion weeks, London always has a more relaxed and practical energy—maybe it’s the high chance of rain, or the likelihood that you’ll be spending a couple of hours stood in a freezing warehouse in Hackney. Most editors, stylists, and buyers tend to wear their minimalist staples, such as jeans or black tailored trousers, as a base, and then add some more interest with accessories or a few trend-led pieces.

There were a few trends we saw, again and again, this London Fashion Week, namely bomber jackets, the leather motocross trend, wide-leg jeans, and oversized silhouettes. If you are in need of some fresh outfit inspiration, then let the below ten looks help guide some of your styling decisions or new purchases for the season ahead.

The Minimalist Dream

When at fashion month, British Vogue’s deputy editor and fashion features director, Sarah Harris, always focuses on timeless, simple wardrobe pieces. Instead of shouty prints or extroverted trends, she keeps it polished and classic in elegant tailoring and refined separates. In London, she wore loose-fitting black trousers with a utility shirt-style jacket, white T-shirt, and pointed pumps—an outfit you don’t need a fashion

Fashion designer claims Sam Brinton wore her stolen clothes

A fashion designer from Houston claimed that disgraced former Department of Energy official Sam Brinton wore the custom-made clothes that she had reported missing from a Washington, DC, airport in 2018.

Asya Khamsin, a Tanzanian fashion designer who has made her own clothing for years, shared the shocking connection in a Monday tweet that has since gone viral.

Khamsin said she found photos of Brinton wearing her custom clothing that she had packed in the missing bag after learning that Brinton had been charged with stealing multiple pieces of luggage from two US airports.

The fashion designer tweeted photos showing some of the clothes she lost and then Brinton — who identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns — wearing the same outfits.

“I saw the images. Those were my custom designs, which were lost in that bag in 2018,” she told Fox News. “He wore my clothes, which was stolen.”

I resized my engagement ring with this invisible $10 Amazon hack

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the products and deals we love. If you love them too and decide to purchase through the links below, we may receive a commission. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

Like any good newly engaged person, I will make sure everyone knows that I just got engaged. I am also a lifestyle editor by trade, meaning I will also make sure everyone knows the best secret (and budget-friendly) life hacks out there. And one of the best things I just spent my money on is this $10 engagement ring size adjuster from Amazon.

While I’m absolutely obsessed with my engagement ring (a solitaire round lab-grown diamond with a yellow gold band, even if you weren’t curious), it’s a half-size too big. Obviously, I’m wildly stressed about losing the ring. But I’m just not down with the idea of briefly parting with it to get it resized by a jeweler.

The quick and possibly permanent fix is the $10 Invisible Ring Size Adjuster for Loose Rings from Amazon. Basically, it’s a small clear piece of flexible and durable plastic that you “snap” onto the inside of your band. That’s literally all you need to do!

In my experience, the ring size adjuster feels like absolutely nothing on my finger. Honestly, I’ve forgotten that it’s there. While I still take my new engagement ring off while I shower and do my skin care routine, I can keep it on while sleeping and washing my hands.

The Invisible Ring Size Adjuster comes in a package with eight different ring sizers ranging from 1 millimeter to 10 millimeters. It also comes with a polishing cloth as an extra bonus. Who doesn’t love an extra polishing cloth just for,

The Biggest Skincare and Aesthetics Trends for 2023, According to Experts

woman getting lip injection in her face

woman getting lip injection in her face

Rewind a few years, and skincare trends were basically made-up names for the same end result. There was glass skin, dolphin skin, jello skin, glazed donut skin—all of which essentially mean the same thing: A healthy, well-balanced, even-toned complexion. But in 2023, consumers are smarter, better educated on the basics, and demanding more from beauty products, treatments, and so-called “trends” across the aesthetics space. As such, brands and professionals have followed suit. Products have to be multitasking at a minimum and in-office treatments are taking a 360, holistic approach that factor in mental state, metabolism, and diet.

Getting on board with serums that pack in vitamins, peptides, antioxidants, and acids is an easy way to stay at the top of your skincare game—a quick purchase and you’re good to go. But you’re likely going to want to read up on other buzzy treatments, such as buccal fat removal or microcurrent-slash-radiofrequency devices, before jumping in the (board-certified) doctor’s chair. To help guide you on your journey, and break down what you can expect to see over the next 12 months, top dermatologists and aestheticians are breaking down the biggest skincare trends for 2023.

Buccal Fat Removal

The most talked about trend this year isn’t necessarily the “best.” In fact, you should proceed with an abundance of caution when it comes to buccal fat removal—the results are permanent, and, according to a few pros, don’t age too well. “As many of us know by now, buccal fat removal is a surgical procedure that removes the naturally-occuring fat between the cheekbones and jaw bones of the face, with the goal of accentuating one’s cheekbones and facial structure, and minimizing an appearance of roundness or fullness,” says Dr. Dendy Engelman, MD, FACMS, FAAD, board

Fashion designer who lost luggage at airport claims Sam Brinton wore her clothing

A Tanzanian fashion designer has accused President Biden’s former non-binary nuclear waste guru Sam Brinton of wearing her clothes that vanished with her suitcase in 2018.

Asya Khamsin claimed that Brinton has been seen wearing her custom-made outfits on several occasions since her luggage went missing from Washington DC airport.

The fashion guru, based in Houston, shared side by side photos of herself wearing one of her outfits next to a photo that surfaced of Brinton in what she believes is the same one.

Khamsin reported her luggage missing after it disappeared from the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on March 9, but the baggage was never recovered.

The designer filed a complaint with the Houston Police Department in December, and DailyMail.com has reached out to her for further comment.

Fashion designer Asya Khamsin has accused President Biden’s fired non-binary nuclear waste guru Sam Brinton of wearing her custom-made outfits that vanished with her luggage in 2018

She now claims that Brinton must have taken her case after seeing pictures of them in the news amid allegations of stealing suitcases at other airports.

Khamsin claims that her custom designed clothes are the same that are pictured on Brinton.

The patterns, though similar, sit differently on Brinton and there has been no proof that the items are the same – and it is unclear if they got them altered.

Brinton was let go from their Department of Energy (DOE) position after the multiple theft allegations last year.

Khamsin told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that she recognized her

Karam MD Skincare Review

Scouted selects products independently. If you purchase something from our posts, we may earn a small commission.

I’m becoming a curmudgeon of skincare; it’s difficult to sell me on new stuff–I’ve seen it all, kid. Naturally, I’m usually pretty hesitant about trying new skincare products, so when I discovered a plastic-surgeon-owned brand, KaramMD, I was skeptical. Sure, Dr. Amir Karam is a world-famous plastic surgeon with an undeniably stunning portfolio—but a plastic surgeon making skincare seemed like an astronomer doing astrology–very qualified in an adjacent field–but does it translate?

Regardless of my initial doubt, I acquiesced to my curiosity, especially because KaramMD promised to simplify my skincare routine, is suitable for sensitive skin, and is fairly affordable. The brand claims to gently target all signs of aging, including texture, fine lines, and firmness, with a cocktail of retinol, vitamin C, and other powerhouse ingredients. When I first received the KaramMD Trifecta (the brand’s three core products), I pessimistically looked for the worst: irritants and ingredients that did not warrant the price tag. Instead, I found my favorite label, “vegan,” and I was instantly even more intrigued.

I wouldn’t be writing this had I not woken up to impressive results (vegan or not): smoother, hydrated, vibrant skin, that keeps improving the longer I use the trio. I even had a scratch on my face that seemed to heal quicker once I started using the KaramMD products. Dr. Karam created the line to be effective yet gentle enough to use even after a procedure, whether it be injectables or going under the knife. The products can be used on the face, eyes, and neck, eliminating the need for half a dozen other creams and serums I currently use. Frankly, I did not anticipate how convenient that would be.

Great skin
