Zooey Deschanel’s floral engagement ring features unique design ‘worth $250K’

The New Girl actress and the Property Brothers star shared a joint post of themselves beaming into the camera while Zooey showed off her one-of-a-kind engagement ring.

HGTV star Scott popped the question on Sunday during a family trip to Scotland with Deschanel’s two children playing a “special roleW in the occasion. The actress shares a daughter, Elsie, eight, and Charlie, six, with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, a film producer.

“Forever starts now,” the Emmy-nominated star captioned the photo.

Fans are completely mesmerized by Deschanel’s enormous new bling: a ring with purple and clear gems arranged in a diagonal flower pattern, framed by equally large diamonds.

The unique color and design of each stone suggest that Scott poured a ton of love and thought into it to ensure it is fitting with Deschanel’s taste.

The swoosh design is the most intriguing feature of the ring, while the purple stone is predicted to kick off an engagement ring trend. The Diamond Pro CEO, Mike Fried, told The List that the amethyst-colored gem could be “diamond, sapphire, or alexandrite.”

Each large stone is predicted to be about three carats, totaling the potential cost of at least a quarter of one million dollars.

The comments section of the announcement post was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities, including Mindy Kaling and Courteney Cox.

“Omg!!! So amazing Zooey! Congrats!!” wrote Kaling. Cox similarly added: “That’s so exciting! Congratulations!!!”

Megan Fox’s engagement bling also turned heads

Before Zooey debuted her feminine ring, Megan Fox turned heads with her engagement ring – in a completely different way.

Fox’s alluring bling featured one giant diamond and a dazzling teardrop emerald set on a band with a thorn design. While we’ve never seen a thorn band on an engagement ring, fans were more concerned that Machine Gun Kelly purposefully designed it “so if she tries to take it off, it hurts…,” he revealed.

The phrase love is pain has never been more true.

The couple became engaged in January 2023 but have sparked break-up rumors several times throughout the year. At the time of writing, Fox and MGK are still together.
