All the details on Zooey Deschanel’s ‘unique,’ ‘personalized’ engagement ring from Jonathan Scott
Jonathan Scott presented Zooey Deschanel with a ring as special as their romance when he got down on one knee over the weekend.
The “Property Brothers” star and “New Girl” alum, who started dating in 2019, announced their engagement on Instagram Monday alongside a smiling selfie.
In the snap, the twosome looked every bit in love as they posed in front of an old castle, with Deschanel proudly flashing her one-of-a-kind engagement ring to the camera.
Her sparkler features three large stones of varying colors in a flower pattern, with smaller pink stones flanking the dazzling design.


According to the CEO of The Diamond Pro, Mike Fried, the stunning sparkler is worth at least $250,000 depending on “the quality of the diamonds and the type of purple gemstone.”
“Zooey’s engagement ring is a true testament to who she is: unique, genuine, and beautiful,” he tells Page Six Style.
Fried says that the purple center stone could be a diamond, sapphire or alexandrite while the two stones on the sides seem to be diamonds — each around 3 carats.


“I imagine Jonathon Scott worked closely with a ring designer for weeks to create such a personalized ring,” he adds.
Mason Rotsart, a gemologist at Rare Carat, agrees that the HGTV star must have put a significant amount of planning into the personalized piece — but believes the carat size and exact gemstone may be slightly different.
“The ring appears to feature a 3.5-carat royal purple
